ALSI's low"K grooving tool comes top
In the last few months, Advanced Laser Separation International (ALSI) N.V. went through a significant evaluation and qualification process at a large Taiwanese OSATS company.
The firm's system was compared to other major and established competitors for low"K grooving.
The latest systems, from three different vendors were tested side by side and the results were inspected in detail by OSATS' end customer.
After reviewing the benchmark results on all levels, ALSI says its ICA 1204 system came out as the clear winner and an immediate purchase followed.

Since then, the customer has ordered multiple systems.
Rene Hendriks, Director of Commerce at ALSI comments, "We appreciate that this customer decided for such in"depth benchmark testing and looked for the best instead of just copying the history of others. Of course we are proud to have beaten the established suppliers with such supremacy. It once more confirmed the advantages of our multi"beam approach and platform concept".
ALS claims its ICA 1204 system has proven to be a faster system, providing superior productivity, thanks to the 1"pass multi"beam grooving technology, the dual cassette station, and on the fly kerf check, while achieving great process quality and system accuracy.
