Ushio America will sell and service Tango's flexible and cost-effective PVD system models Axcela, Onyx, and Topaz allowing up to 3 potentially different target materials to be processed by a single system "” used for a variety of promising applications, including EMI shielding, PVD processing for panels, 3D/TSV, MEMS, and WLP "” to Japanese semiconductor device manufacturers.

"¢ Axcela: Multi-chamber 200-mm/300-mm HVM PVD system

"¢ Onyx: Single-chamber low-volume production PVD system

"¢ Topaz: Multi-chamber panel PVD system for up to 520 x 520 mm glass/organic panel

"I am very pleased to introduce Tango's PVD systems to the Japanese market," said Shinji Kameda, President  & CEO of Ushio America, Inc. "We believe they are the most reliable, high-performance, and low-CoO PVD systems in the market today, and will allow Japanese device manufacturers to enhance a competitive edge in their PVD processes."

"We are very pleased to have recently signed a representation agreement with Ushio America" said Ravi Mullapudi, CEO of Tango Systems, Inc. "This mutually beneficial partnership, capitalizing on their respected expertise and experience, will greatly increase Tango Systems' engagement in the Japanese market.
