Testing times for silicon photonics?
Clemens Leichtle, Director Center Of Expertise at Advantest, explains the strategic partnership which the company has with FormFactor to develop a novel test cell and measurement system designed for high-volume production of silicon photonics (SiPh) and co-packaged optics (CPO) devices. Clemens outlines how the AI data centre architecture is driving Advantest’s work in this area, hence the company’s collaborative work with not just FormFactor, but also Technoprobe, as well as additional probe card manufacturers and other critical semiconductor industry supply chain companies.
