Infinitesima strengthens global applications team with a senior appointment

Infinitesima, the UK semiconductor metrology company, has appointed Scott Eitapence as Global Applications Director, bringing more than 25 years of industry experience to the company’s global applications team.

Scott’s expertise in the semiconductor industry spans applications development, technical leadership and the commercial introduction of advanced semiconductor technologies. Most recently, Scott was Director of Applications Development at KLA, a leading process control company, where he led a global organisation of 70 engineers across the US, Asia and Europe. His experience includes building and managing international applications teams and working closely with customers to support the adoption of complex technologies in semiconductor manufacturing.


Earlier in his career at KLA, Scott played an important role in the go-to-market strategy for the company’s e-Beam product line, with his work contributing to more than $100 million in revenue.

As Global Applications Director, Scott will lead Infinitesima’s applications team, supporting customers globally and helping accelerate the adoption and expansion of the company’s advanced metrology technology across semiconductor manufacturing applications.
