Changes at Infineon
Thomas Weber, head of corporate communications, leaves Infineon and Ralph Driever takes over as new head of the department.
Infineon Technologies announced that Head of Corporate Communications Thomas Weber is to leave Infineon Technologies by mutual agreement and on amicable terms on September 30, 2008. Weber has headed global communications at Infineon since 2006. The supervisory board and the management board have both expressed their gratitude for his outstanding services to the company.
As Mr. Weber's replacement, Infineon announced that Ralph Driever, 47, is to take over as head of corporate communications at Infineon Technologies on October 1. Driever, who has extensive experience in strategic communications in international companies, began his career at Bertelsmann, where, after working in a variety of posts, he took charge of communications at the printing and publishing house Gruner + Jahr. He later moved to strategy consultants Roland Berger, where he headed up marketing and corporate communications, before joining Degussa as head of corporate communications.
