STATS ChipPAC enhances visibility and collaboration
The test and advanced packaging company selects E2open's supplier collaboration system to enhance visibility, control and collaboration across its multi-enterprise demand and supply network.
STATS ChipPAC, a semiconductor test and advanced packaging service provider, announced it has selected E2open's global supplier collaboration system (GSCS) to enhance visibility, control and collaboration across its demand and supply network that spans multiple geographic locations.
The backbone of the STATS ChipPAC supply management process includes automated flows for order and inventory management and demand and supply synchronisation. By augmenting the existing supply management within the GSCS solution, STATS ChipPAC plans to improve inventory management performance, increase delivery accuracy and enhance visibility across the demand and supply network.
The GSCS solution has been implemented in STATS ChipPAC's Thailand operation in just 10 weeks by leveraging E2open standard solutions that take advantage of E2open's position as a certified SAP NetWeaver partner and by building on STATS ChipPAC's investments in SAP technologies. Based on the success of the GSCS solution seen by STATS ChipPAC in its Thailand operation, the company will deploy the GSCS solution across its worldwide operations. Following this first phase of implementation, the scope of the GSCS solutions will be further developed to cater to STATS ChipPAC's expanded business environment and demand and supply network processes.
