WD sets up ME regional HQ at DSO
Move by leading provider of digital storage solutions significant for middle east region.
Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority (DSOA) announced Western Digital, provider of digital storage solutions in the Middle East, has set up its ME head quarters in Dubai Silicon Oasis (DSO), the region’s premier integrated innovations hub for high tech industries.
Western Digital’s initiative to operate out of DSO comes as part of the company’s larger expansion plans, enhancing its portfolio while increasing its offering of digital storage solutions across the Middle East region.
Dr. Jihad Kiwan, Chief Technology Officer at Dubai Silicon Oasis Authority, said: “We are delighted with Western Digital’s decision to set up their operations for the middle east region at DSO, which goes along with our goal of building and supporting the technology industry in the UAE in general and Dubai in particular.
