RS Components and Honeywell increase global co-operation
Strategic agreement with Honeywell Sensing & Control to increase products available to customers worldwide.
RS Components announces a strategic agreement with Honeywell Sensing & Control (S&C), a provider of sensor and switch technology. Honeywell offers a breadth of capability with over 50,000 products ranging from snap action, limit, toggle and pressure switches to position, speed, pressure, torque and airflow sensors.
In the next six months, RS is introducing over 500 additional Honeywell products to its globally stocked range specifically targeting the food and beverage, petrochemical and machine building industries. To further support engineers with the application of these products, Honeywell will be sharing enhanced technical data and specifications through the RS website.
“We are very excited to be working with RS Components to further increase our presence in the Europe and Asia Pacific regions,” commented Beth Wozniak, president of Honeywell Sensing & Control.
Further explaining the importance of the agreement signed at Electronica in November, Ian Mason, CEO at RS stated: “Our large, global customer base helps us to engage with leading international manufacturers on a more strategic level to bring the very latest products to market at competitive prices.”
