FCI and RS Components sign European distribution agreement
Under the terms of the agreement, RS will distribute FCI Electronics’ full product line to customers across Europe.
RS Components has entered into an European distribution agreement with FCI, a supplier of electronic connectors and interconnect systems.
"We view this agreement as an enhancement to the already strong working relationship between FCI and RS Components,” said Ronald Velda, director distribution Europe for FCI. “Our commitment is to provide the best design services and supply chain solutions to our customers, regardless of their footprint. RS are market leaders for catalogue distribution, so are very well positioned to support this effort throughout Europe."
“Our wide base of electronic design and production customers are looking for the best quality performance and newest technologies available for their interconnection needs,“ said Valérie Ramon, category business manager for electro mechanical and connectors at RS. “This agreement with FCI enables us to meet their needs by providing innovative interconnects, high speed and miniaturised connectors to our customers around Europe.”
FCI has 34 manufacturing sites across the globe where it designs and manufactures connector solutions targeting market applications for telecommunications infrastructures, consumer electronics, data storage, energy, power and utility, industrial, instrumentation and medical applications.
