Semiconductor distribution contract terminated
Acal has been notified by one of its semiconductor suppliers to the electronics division that it is terminating Acal’s distribution contract. Termination will take effect from 30 April 2009.
This product line represents approximately 4% of group revenue and 3% of gross margin. The name of the company has not being released.
As stated in an Interim Management Statement dated 23 January, the company is carrying out a review of Acal’s business and strategy and will factor this contract loss into the review.
