Court ratifies Crossing’s acquisition of Asyst Technologies’ atmospheric assets
Crossing Automation has that the court has approved the Asset Purchase Agreement for the Asyst Technologies atmospheric technologies and IP assets including the sorter, EFEM (equipment front endmodule) and RFID products. The court’s approval means that Crossing Automation can proceed with the acquisition under the terms of the agreement previously reached with Asyst.
“Getting court approval is a critical step towards completing our acquisition of Asyst’s assets,” said Jed Keller, president and CEO of Crossing Automation. “Our investment ensures continuity of business for Asyst’s current OEM and IDM customers now and for the long term. We are actively moving forward with integrating the two companies as quickly and as smoothly as possible, to maintain the flow of service, parts and products that customers need to successfully operate their businesses.”
Crossing Automation expects to complete theacquisition of Asyst’s atmospheric automation assets by August 31, 2009.
