BISOL commits to recycle end-of-life modules
BISOL has signed a contract with French association CERES, which is set to implement the solar industry voluntary commitment to collect and recycle the end-of-life products and production waste. BISOL strives to be environmentally friendly at all stages of the production process and the life-cycle of the product. BISOL shows remarkable commitment to sustainable energy solutions by producing green energy from the most self-sufficient and effective source of energy and by recycling its products.
BISOL eliminates the use of toxic materials and takes responsibility for the life-cycle impacts of its products by testing new materials and processes, and designing products which can be easily recycled. All the components and materials used in the production of PV modules originate from well-established and verified suppliers and are a guarantee for achieving the highest power output possible without polluting the environment. BISOL guarantees that their PV modules will not contaminate the environment at their end-of-life and has therefore signed a contract with Ceres.
Ceres is a non-profit making association established under French law with aspiration to create an extensive voluntary commitment to set up a collection and recycling programme for end-of-life-photovoltaic modules. Ceres offers a broad range of solution for collecting and recycling of all sizes of solar installations. While residential installations represent the majority of all installations, they represent only 30% of the installed capacity. The association and its partners have been establishing collection points all over Europe in order to provide the sustainable use of PV technology.
By being a member of a collection and recycling association for end-of-life modules BISOL proves its customers that they take their social responsibility very seriously indeed.
