Inphi & Samsung Semiconductor To Showcase LRDIMM Technology
Inphi Corporation, a provider of high-speed mixed signal semiconductor solutions for the communications and computing markets, is participating at VMworld 2012 to showcase Load Reduced DIMM (LRDIMM) technology for next-generation servers in Samsung Semiconductor's booth #601.
The VMworld conference will be held between August 26th and 30th, 2012. Inphi will be in Samsung Semiconductor's booth #601 at VMworld, which will be held at the Moscone Centre in San Francisco, California.
Inphi will showcase the benefit of a system with 768GB capacity using 32GB Samsung LRDIMMs enabled by Inphi's Isolation Memory Buffer (iMB) technology to real world applications. Inphi will present quantitative metrics of performance and performance/watt improvement for homogeneous database workloads on a virtualised system with Intel Xeon processor E5-2600 using 768GB or 512GB memory capacity compared to a baseline of 384GB system capacity.
Inphi is a provider of high-speed mixed signal semiconductor solutions for the communications and computing markets. The firm's end-to-end data transport platform delivers high signal integrity at fast data speeds, addressing performance and bandwidth bottlenecks in networks, from fibre to memory. Inphi uses InP, GaAs, SiGe and CMOS technology in its devices.
