Micron SSDs Used In VeloBit Caching Software
VeloBit, a provider of solid state drive (SSD) caching software, has signed a contract for an introductory sampling program with Micron Technology.
The agreement will enable VeloBit to provide customers with a bundled SSD and caching software evaluation solution. Customers looking to integrate SSDs in their IT infrastructure can receive a free 60-day trial that bundles VeloBit Hypercache software with select Micron PCIe and SATA SSDs.
The jointly qualified bundle meets the needs of customers looking to accelerate I/O bound applications and boost database capacity. Through the bundled solution, customers can experience, in 60 seconds or less, an increase in application performance and capacity by up to twenty times without changing their applications or primary storage.

"The sampling program with Micron enables us to offer a free evaluation of a complete solution for customers that don't yet have SSDs.
Customers can have a trial up and running in a few hours without working through an SSD purchasing process. This joint solution will accelerate adoption of our performance-leading SSD caching software and speed SSD adoption in the enterprise."
