Somekh joins Novellus
Novellus Systems announced the appointment of Dr Sasson (Sass) Somekh as president. As president, Somekh will assume the primary role in driving new product development and product line business units.
Novellus Systems announced the appointment of Dr Sasson (Sass) Somekh as president. As president, Somekh will assume the primary role in driving new product development and product line business units.
Somekh spent 23 years at Applied Materials, most recently as executive vice-president. During the past year, there have been announcements of his disengagement from Applied (Bulletins 512 January 5, 2004, and 494, August 7, 2003).
Before joining Applied, Somekh worked at Bell Laboratories and Intel. Somekh received his doctorate in electrical engineering from the California Institute of Technology. He holds more than 50 US patents.
