Longer life to new gas monitor
RKI Analytical Instruments GmbH, the European subsidiary of RIKEN KEIKI, has announced the release of a new LEL (lower Explosive Limits) monitor for combustible gases. The GP-01 is a small, portable gas monitor for complex gas measurement network systems that are required for many industries, including the semiconductor industry.
Like all monitors of the Series-01 the GP-01 is very compact and lightweight. As a special feature the sensor is located at the top of the device allowing a reliable measurement even if the monitor is carried inside the breast pocket. The GP-01 is equipped with visual, audible and vibration alarm. The GP-01 can be run continously up to 16 hours on a standard alkaline AAA battery.
The GP-01 provides measurement of HC with a measuring range of 0 - 100% LEL with the ability to measure LEL for O2, CO and H2S
