ISSI forecasts loss
California-based fabless semiconductor company Integrated Silicon Solutions (ISSI) has announced that it expects to make a loss for the December quarter.
California-based fabless semiconductor company Integrated Silicon Solutions (ISSI) has announced that it expects to make a loss for the December quarter. The company has also lowered its revenue orecast for the period to between US$30.0 million and US$31.0 million.
ISSI chairman and chief executive officer Jimmy Lee said that excess inventories were pushing down prices of its products more than it had previously forecast. "Our low and medium density DRAM family saw continuing pricing pressure throughout the quarter to a degree greater than we expected," he said.
