Global semiconductor equipment revenues meanwhile fell 10% in January compared with December to US$4.1 billion but were 14% higher than the same period last year.
The book-to-bill ratio for January was 0.88 - a slight improvement from the November-December period but still below parity. January is typically a slow month because it straddles the Christmas season and Asia’s Lunar New Year.
