Irish company Optical Metrology Innovations (OMI) is looking to expand its metrology tool marketing into Japan with the appointment of Hakuto as its exclusive distributor.
OMI's main product is Omistrain, a tool that can measure and diagnose 3-D thermomechanical deformation and strain related reliability issues in electronic and photonic device packages. Another tool is Omiprobe, a photoreflectance spectroscope for in-line characterisation of epitaxial wafers.
