SEMATECH has created an independent subsidiary from its R&D wafer fab and associated analytical laboratories.
SEMATECH has created an independent subsidiary from its R&D wafer fab and associated analytical laboratories. The new subsidiary is called Advanced Technology Development Facility (ATDF). The entity began operation on July 1, 2004. The ATDF will offer services in technology development, wafer processing and analysis. Technology development could include non-classical CMOS, custom development, prototyping and university work.
