Multitest – Introduced New MT9510 XP Pick & Place Handler
Rosenheim June, 2005: Multitest launched its new MT9510 XP Pick & Place handler during Semicon Singapore. There, this model was shown to the public the first time and recognized with high interest.
The MT9510 XP is an evolution of the well known tri-temp pick & place handler MT9510, which has more than 400 installations worldwide.
Says Guenther Jeserer, Product Manager Pick & Place, Multitest: “The new system, which supports 8-site parallel test, is a big step forward to support our customers strive for increased productivity. We have been able to reduce the index time from 0,5sec to now 0,38sec. The overall throughput has been increased for quad site configuration to 5300 uph at 2.0 seconds test time."
At the Semicon West at booth number 8001 the MT9510 XP will be shown with the optical positioning option. This option not only allows the handling of critical fine pitch devices, but also optimizes the contacting yield.
