Hong Kong Science Park invests in German technology
The Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP) has recently started operating a wide range of test and measurement equipment from Instrument Systems GmbH.
The HKSTP was founded with the goal of giving companies from Hong Kong and the surrounding regions of South China access to leading-edge key technologies. The HKSTP is using equipment from Instrument Systems to expand its expertise in displays and solid-state lighting over the long term. In addition to the fully automated DTS500 test system for analyzing the optical parameters of displays, measuring technology for determining the optical properties of LEDs will also be available in the future. The HSTP provides its customers with technical and commercial support as well as the use of laboratory capacities to carry out research and development projects.The high-precision CAS140B Compact Array Spectrometer forms the core of the equipment supplied by Instrument Systems. The fiber-optic coupling allows the CAS140B spectrometer to be connected to various measuring heads in order to analyze all the optical parameters of displays and LEDs. Complete measuring systems are available in combination with traceable calibrations based on international standards plus comprehensive control and evaluation software.
