MEMSIC opens design center in Chicago, IL
MEMSIC Inc., announced it has opened an IC design centre in Chicago, IL to focus on the next generation of new products.
MEMSIC is penetrating into diverse markets through new product development. In an effort to meet the high demands of the fast paced consumer, industrial, and automotive markets, MEMSIC's new design centre in Chicago will focus on broadening the MEMSIC line of low cost and high performance products.
Dr. Yang Zhao, Chief Executive Officer, said, "With the fast growth and success of our current accelerometer business, MEMSIC is on its way to grow into a company with diversified product lines that addresses the market needs in various low cost and high performance IC's.
The Chicago design centre will play an important role in creating the next generation products to meet these demands." MEMSIC is preparing to launch multiple products designed at the Chicago design centre in 2006.
