Magnum Semiconductor’s Asia expansions

Magnum Semiconductor, Inc. (Magnum) announced the opening of its new sales and applications support offices in Tokyo, Japan.

Mr. Yoji Iwade has been appointed to the position of Japan's country manager and will direct the subsidiary's business endeavors and drive Magnum's sales activities and customer support business strategies and alliances throughout the country.

"The establishment of Magnum offices in Japan demonstrates our commitment to provide better service to Magnum's current and new customers," said Jack Guedj, president and chief executive office of Magnum Semiconductor, Inc. "Mr. Iwade's broad array of skills, leadership and market experience will be tremendous assets to lead Magnum's expansion in Japan."

Iwade was formerly with Universe Electron Corp. (UEC), Magnum's distributor in Japan, where he was employed for more than ten years as marketing and sales manager for ESS Technology. For the five years prior, Iwade worked for Kanematsu in key marketing and sales positions.

"I feel confident that Magnum's products, technologies, Tier 1 customer base and strong brand awareness are the key ingredients we need to extend our success in the Japan market."
