Carl Zeiss SMT board member leaves company

Chief Financial Officer Daniel Schoch (32) is leaving Carl Zeiss SMT AG on 30 September 2006.
Schoch, who has been on the company Board since 1 October 2001, is leaving at his own request in order to undertake a new activity outside the Carl Zeiss Group. Until further notice, his position will be filled by Controlling Director Stefan Müller (34) who reports to President and CEO of Carl Zeiss SMT AG, Dr. Hermann Gerlinger.
