RVSI to open customer training centre in Taiwan
The state-of-the-art facility will feature the newly released WS3800 wafer scanner and a LS8800 lead scanner for customer training throughout Asia. Additionally, Applications and Field Service Engineering are based out of the centre to work more closely with the company's customers.
"RVSI is totally committed to our customers as we continue to improve service levels and drive for the lowest total cost of ownership through low cost upgrades," said Kevin Maddy, President of RVSI. "The centre will benefit our Asian customers by providing local training, quicker support on advanced applications issues, and even faster throughput and uptime through process optimization."
It will be co-located and operated in cooperation with Kromax International Corp., RVSI's Taiwan representative. However, the centre and all the resources it offers will be made available to the entire region.
K. Kell Hwang, President of Kromax, said, "The success of RVSI and Kromax depends on helping our customers acquire leading edge technologies to produce products needed to succeed in global markets. The co-location of the training and applications centre accomplishes this mission."
