Philips to sell Enabling Technologies Group to VDL Groep

Royal Philips Electronics andVDL Groep announced that they have signed a letter of intent for VDL Groep to acquire Philips Enabling Technologies Group (ETG).
Subject to regulatory approvals, the transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2006. No financial details of this transaction were disclosed.
