CVI Technical Optics completes integration of Quality Laser Optics
CVI Technical Optics is pleased to announce the completion of the integration of Quality Laser Optics (QLO).
"Within 12 weeks, we were able to re-arrange the Onchan facility, install and qualify all of the manufacturing equipment, and integrate all of the people. This is quite an achievement," praises Dr. Helmut Kessler, General Manager of CVI Technical Optics. "We heartily thank all of the staff for their hard work and commitment. We also thank our customers for their patience during this time."
CVI Technical Optics based in the UK, is capable of polishing optics up to 1 meter in diameter with a surface figure of lambda/10 over any 12" diameter (subject to material type, thickness of optic, and shape of optic). CVI Technical Optics uses a 12" Zygo interferometer to certify this performance.
