Synplicity joins ARM connected community
“As more embedded processors are used in FPGA designs, the need grows for a seamless flow that enables designers to incorporate advanced cores into hardware,” said Joe Gianelli, vice president of business development, Synplicity. “Through the ARM Connected Community, we are a part of an elite group of strategic ARM partners striving to produce the most effective ARM technology-based solutions. We believe our FPGA software solutions, which have a long track record of enabling high-performance designs, will fit nicely within this global network of companies.”
Joining the ARM Connected Community gives Synplicity more exposure to embedded developers who use ARM processors in FPGA prototyping flows. Members of the ARM Connected Community will now be able to leverage Synplicity’s synthesis technology in order to enable better FPGA flows.
The ARM Connected Community is a global network of companies aligned to provide a complete solution, from design to manufacture and end use, for products based on the ARM architecture.
“The Connected Community is all about companies working together to provide the most complete solutions in the shortest possible time. By joining the Community, which now comprises more than 375 companies, Synplicity increases the large portfolio of skills, products and services that are centered around the ARM architecture, and currently available to developers worldwide,” said Ian Thornton, director of solutions marketing for ARM.
