Axcelis announces multiple system design win from Asian manufacturer
Axcelis Technologies, Inc. reported a new design win for multiple systems of its Optima HD high dose implanter to a major memory manufacturer located in Asia.
The customer selected both the Optima HD and the Optima HD Ima. This is the second penetration for the Optima HD Imax system, which allows users to dramatically increase productivity for low energy applications, by implanting clusters of boron rather than individual atoms."We're very excited about this new design win as it demonstrates continued customer confidence in the Optima HD as well our innovative molecular implant technology," said Mary Puma, chairman and CEO of Axcelis.
