Eyelit, Inc. joins Fab Owners Association

Eyelit, Inc has announced that it has joined the Fab Owners Association (FOA).

Eyelit, Inc has announced that it has joined the Fab Owners Association (FOA).The FOA is a nonprofit, international association, comprised of manufacturers and suppliers in the semiconductor and MEMS industries. The FOA was conceived to provide a forum for semiconductor manufacturing executives to discuss and act on common manufacturing issues resulting in company wide efficiencies. The association was founded in 2004 and incorporated in 2005.

Current FOA member companies include: AMI Semiconductor, Cypress Semiconductor, Delphi, Fairchild Semiconductor, Freescale Semiconductor, International Rectifier, Intersil, Jazz Semiconductor, MagnaChip, Micrel Semiconductor, NXP Semiconductor, ON Semiconductor, Spansion, and ZMD AG, as well as an additional twenty five associate members.

L.T. Guttadauro, FOA executive director, said, "The FOA's mission is to bring together semiconductor device manufacturers and technology leaders that can offer immediate benefits and long-term efficiencies to our membership. We are pleased to welcome Eyelit as our newest associate member. Eyelit's proven innovative technology brings our membership first-hand contact with the next generation of manufacturing software solutions and a forum for influencing future semiconductor manufacturing software strategies."

"Eyelit has a successful track record of Legacy MES systems migrations that help device makers reduce the cost of manufacturing IT and modernize their CIM infrastructures," stated Dan Estrada. "Eyelit's innovative framework also cost-effectively adds flexibility and extends the usability of Legacy MES applications."
