Berkeley Design Automation opens subsidiary in Japan
Berkeley Design Automation Inc has announced it has established a wholly-owned subsidiary, Berkeley Design Automation KK (BDA KK), in Japan. BDA KK will provide direct sales and technical support to better serve the company's rapidly expanding Japanese customer base.

BDA KK will provide direct sales and technical support to better serve the company's rapidly expanding Japanese customer base."Japan is a strategically important region for analogue and RF technology design starts due to consumer electronics," said Ravi Subramanian, CEO of Berkeley Design Automation. "With the establishment of a direct presence in Japan, we will be able to better serve the company's rapidly expanding Japanese customer base for our Precision Circuit Analysis products. We look forward to growing our business in Japan by adding new customers and expanding our relationship with existing customers."Prior to the opening of BDA KK, IT-Farm, a venture capital and consulting firm, has been providing hands-on support to establish Berkeley Design Automation's presence in the Japanese market."IT-Farm has worked closely with Berkeley Design Automation for over two years to introduce the Precision Circuit Analysis technology and create a strong business foundation in Japan," said Mr. Morio Kurosaki, President of IT-Farm.
