Collaboration will support fabless semiconductor companies in Europe

Verigy has announced an agreement with DELTA Microelectronics. The two companies will collaborate to provide engineering, ramp-up and final testing support, in Europe as well as in Asia and the U.S. DELTA has purchased two Verigy V93000 Pin Scale systems with RF capability, which will be used for engineering, characterisation and volume test on wafer and in final test for high-performance RF applications such as Bluetooth, GSM, UWB, FireWire and W-LAN. As part of the arrangement, Verigy will provide test expertise and support to DELTA customers."Working with Verigy will allow us to provide our customers with access to RF test solutions and to benefit directly from Verigy's test expertise and large installed base," said Per Olund Hansen, executive vice president, DELTA.
