Multiple system order from leading Taiwan foundry for thermal processing tools
Aviza Technology has announced it has received a multiple system order for its RVP-300plus thermal processing system from a leading foundry based in Taiwan.
Aviza Technology has announced it has received a multiple system order for its RVP-300plus thermal processing system from a leading foundry based in Taiwan. The customer will use the RVP-300plus systems for diffusion and low pressure chemical vapour deposition (LPCVD) applications to meet their high-volume DRAM device manufacturing requirements for the 90-nm and below geometries. The systems will be shipped to the foundry's latest 300-mm manufacturing facility. This is a new 300-mm foundry customer for Aviza's Thermal BusinessUnit and represents a major customer win. Aviza was selected as a preferred vendor for its expertise in diffusion and LPCVD applications, as the RVP-300plus systems demonstrated the high-volume DRAM manufacturing results to meet the customer's productivity requirements for these applications. Aviza continues to increase its global thermal market penetration in Asia by securing new and repeat thermal system orders, validated by this most recent double-digit tool order in this important manufacturing region.
