Inficon has been awarded an order of USD 2.3 million from a major memory chip manufacturer in Taiwan for multiple in situ metrology sensors, FabGuard advanced process software, and high performance leak detectors.

Inficon has been awarded an order of USD 2.3 million from a major memory chip manufacturer in Taiwan for multiple in situ metrology sensors, FabGuard advanced process software, and high performance leak detectors.

"We are especially pleased to win this new customer's business after a thorough competitive evaluation process," commented Lukas Winkler, president and chief executive officer of Inficon. "Our selection validates our ability to continue winning customers for Inficon products, which offer significant productivity benefits for complex semiconductor manufacturing processes."

Inficon products included in this contract for installation in a new 300 mm fab include FabGuard fault detection and control software, Stiletto scanning-laser particle detectors, Transpector gas analysers, RF sensor technology, and arc detector in situ sensors.
