Integrated Dynamics Engineering, Inc., (IDE) has opened a new, full-service office focused on controls for electron beam microscopes in Tokyo, Japan. The IDE Japan office is located in the Tachikawa district of Metropolitan Tokyo. This streamlined facility will support IDE's growing Asian market with complete engineering, product development, sales, and customer service teams. Primary focus will be on IDE's vibration isolation and acoustic control systems for electron beam microscopes and EMI cancellation systems for MRI installations in difficult urban environments. At the opening ceremonies, IDE Group President & CEO Peter Heiland said, "As the semiconductor industry continues to expand, as our relationships with Japan's leading OEMs dramatically increase, and as our global business evolves positively, we need to establish a truly solid IDE base in Japan.""To develop tomorrow's customized products for our OEM customers today," Heiland continued, "we need to develop a highly trained staff in Japan." To accomplish this, IDE is embarking on a broad search for local engineering talent in Japan to support its ambitious plans in research and development, advanced design, prototyping, set-up, optimization, and more. All efforts will focus on enhancing IDE's ever-evolving portfolio of components and sub-systems for numerous metrology, lithography, semiconductor, and EMI applications."By being able to integrate Japanese expertise with our European and US technical teams, IDE will be an effective resource here in the Pacific Rim," commented Motoi Ebina, President of IDE Japan.
