Follow-on solar order worth $4.9 million received from Asia customer
Amtech Systems, Inc. has announced the company has received a $4.9 million follow-on solar order for diffusion processing systems from the solar cell industry.
Amtech Systems, Inc. has announced the company has received a $4.9 million follow-on solar order for diffusion processing systems from the solar cell industry. This follow-on order of $4.9 million is from a recent new customer based in Asia and is in addition to the $4.4 million in solar orders Amtech announced on July.For its fiscal 2007 year-to-date, Amtech has received approximately $19.0 million of solar orders, including this most recent order. Amtech expects the $4.9 million order to ship in fiscal 2008."We continue to execute our growth plan and generate strong momentum and interest for our products with current and potential new customers within the rapidly growing solar market," said J.S. Whang, President and Chief Executive Officer of Amtech.
