MEMSCAP shows growth and profitability for Q3
MEMSCAP, a provider of innovative solutions based on micro-electromechanical systems (MEMS) technology, has announced it earnings for quarter three, 2007.
Consolidated revenue for Q3, the highest of the whole Group history, amounts to
€4.6 million (US$ 6.3 million), compared to €4 million (US$ 5.4 million) in Q2 2007 and €3.8 million (US$ 4.8 million) for Q3 2006. This represents a year-on-year increase of over 30% in US$.
The Group gross margin is €2.2 million and represents 47% of the consolidated revenue, showing a 2 point increase compared to Q2 2007.
In parallel to this growth, consolidated operating profit for this third quarter has strongly increased up to s0.1 million compared to €(0.3) million for Q2 2007, which signs the Group return to operational profitability.
Company consolidated net result also improved significantly up to €0.2 million compared to €(0.2) million for Q2 2007.
