Vitex Systems secures order for Guardian thin-film encapsulation system
"We are very glad to have successfully entered into the Japanese market, as this marks another major milestone for ANS after our recent successes in both Korea and Europe," said BK Chun, general manager of sales for ANS.
"We're pleased to see the thin-film encapsulation market finally take off after years of research and development. We recently established a branch office in Dresden, Germany a few months ago, and will continue to invest and work closely with our customers to ensure their success."
Commenting on its successes, Chyi-Shan Suen, director of sales and marketing for Vitex, said, "ANS delivered the first Guardian thin-film encapsulation system to Samsung SDI in 2005. ANS again successfully delivered the Guardian system to MicroEmissive Displays (MED) for their production line. We are pleased with this latest victory, which is a signal that thin-film encapsulation continues to gain broader adoption within the OLED industry."
