Tronics becomes first pure-play custom MEMS to maintain profitibility
Fueled by strong revenue growth, French-based Tronics Microsystems have announced it is the first pure-play contract manufacturer of advanced MEMS devices to achieve consistent profitability.
The privately held company has now recorded five consecutive quarters of net profit, with revenues for 2007 expected to exceed last year's by more than 50%.Tronics' sustained profitability in this long-emerging sector validates its unique and strategic approach to the MEMS business, which has fueled the company's rapid growth among a select customer base in Europe, North America and Japan.
