Cymbet launch new thin-film batteries
The battery development firm, Cymbet Corporation has launched it first line of highly rechargeable thin-film batteries.
After raising about US$16.5 million in the US, Cymbet has spent seven years developing a battery for sales to the semiconductor industry.Even though these batteries can be used as a primary source of power, allowing a device to function between recharging sessions, they will be used as a reliable and long-term supply of backup power.
