Technic France purchases Air Liquide’s semiconductor grade hydrogen peroxide facility
Technic France has announced the purchase of Air Liquide's semiconductor grade hydrogen peroxide operation.
The purchase includes both the business and the production unit located in Chalon sur Saone, France. The acquisition of Air Liquide's hydrogen peroxide business illustrates Technic's willingness to continuously develop its pure chemicals business at a time when the leading trend in the industry is the divestiture of semiconductor chemical businesses. Technic's goal is to capture a greater share in the bulk semiconductor chemicals market. This acquisition follows a supply agreement signed with Lanxess in 2007 for electronic grade sulfuric acid.
