Aquest Systems announces new NWA facility
A new ‘No wait AMHS’ (NWA) facility has been unveiled.
Aquest Systems unveiled the development of a new state of the art NWA facility that will be built in Taichung, Tawain to demonstrate the substantial productivity benefits of Aquest’s next generation AMHS for high volume 300 mm IC fabrication. NWA is the result of a new joint development partnership between Aquest, Tera Autotech Corporation in Taiwan and a major Japanese automation company.
Scheduled to come on line later this year, the NWA facility will simulate an operating IC fab using Aquest’s FabEX AMHS hardware and software. The NWA solution is expected to substantially improve productivity and enable new levels of cost efficiency.
