memsstar Technology enters Japanese market in partnership with Canon Marketing Japan
memsstar Technology, etch and deposition equipment supplier to the global MEMS industry, announced that it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Canon Marketing Japan (Canon MJ) to co-operatively market and promote memsstar products to leading Japanese MEMS manufacturers and developers.
The partnership between memsstar and Canon MJ is another significant step in the company’s global roll out supporting increased focus on the Asia Pacific region. This follows the recent opening of offices in the United States, due to the growing interest and demand for memsstar’s unique chemical etching and coating technology in the region.
“To properly serve customers in Japan it is very important to have a strong local Japanese partner” stated Tony McKie, Sales Director and co-founder. “Working in co-ordination with Canon MJ, we have quickly established a solution for Japanese customers to successfully adopt our products and technology. We know that Japan is a key market within the global MEMS picture, and that Japanese customers demand the highest quality, great technology and superior service. With Canon MJ this can now be delivered.”
