New member for Anantara’s Board of Directors

Dr. L.S. Ganesh of IIT Madras joins the Board of Directors at Anantara
Anantara Solutions Private, a new generation outsourcing firm that pioneered Second Generation Outsourcing (SGO), announced the appointment of Dr. L.S. Ganesh, Head, Department of Management Studies, Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras as a Director on its Board.

Dr. L. S. Ganesh has been with the management faculty of the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras since 1987. His expertise has been sought for national and international projects sponsored by the World Bank and UNDP, and by professional bodies including the Confederation of Indian Industry and the Madras Management Association.

Commenting on Dr. Ganesh's appointment, Mr. G.B. Prabhat, Founder and CEO, Anantara Solutions, said, "We are delighted that Dr. Ganesh has joined our board. He is a distinguished academic and brings with him many years of experience in directing teams and industry bodies. In addition to strengthening our governance, Dr. Ganesh's presence on the board will help us immensely with training and grooming Anantara professionals for the SGO revolution."

Dr L.S. Ganesh said, "I eagerly look forward to be a member of the Anantara board. I am aware of Anantara's huge talent pool of highly energised and competent young professionals, and will use this great opportunity to build on their strengths. As a member of the Board, I will advise the management team on pushing their excellence further and holistically."

Earlier, Dr. Ganesh had worked at Air India, Mumbai, and then served on the faculty at the National Institute of Educational Planning and Administration (NIEPA), New Delhi, and the Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Bangalore.

Dr. Ganesh is a distinguished alumnus of the Birla Institute of Technology and Science (BITS), Pilani, Rajasthan, and earned his Masters and Ph.D degrees from IIT Madras.
