SiMa.ai begins sampling of MLSoC Modalix

News

SiMa.ai, the software-centric, embedded edge machine learning system-on-chip (MLSoC) company has announced immediate availability of the Modalix 50 TOPs device, and a new Early Access Program for MLSoC™ Modalix.

Modalix is said to be the industry’s first purpose-built platform that seamlessly integrates multi-modal applications using Transformers, LLMs, LMMs and GenAI at the edge along with traditional computer vision algorithms while delivering power efficiency and cost-effectiveness. Modalix extends the SiMa.ai lead by delivering industry leading performance per watt that is consistently more than 10X compared to alternatives.

The MLSoC™ and its innovative architecture is globally recognized by customers for its real-time human-machine interactions while processing multiple sensor inputs simultaneously, making it ideal for applications requiring complex decision-making and natural interaction in the physical world. Modalix builds upon our successful first generation MLSoC™ and enables 100s of new physical AI and GenAI use cases on-device at less than 10 Watts. Modalix brings disruptive GenAI and conversational AI capabilities to a wide range of customer applications from humanoid robots, next generation LMM based infotainment systems in cars, smart factories, advanced automated mobile robots, smart retail and vision systems, medical, space, aerospace and defense, agriculture, construction, and industrial drones.

The SiMa.ai ONE Platform for Edge AI makes it easy to get started with Modalix. The ONE Platform is a comprehensive development framework that includes SiMa.ai best-in-class Palette software suite allowing customers to effortlessly build and deploy AI solutions at the edge. The ONE Platform empowers organizations to harness advanced multi-modal and GenAI models of today and prepare for tomorrow through a seamless upgrade experience that redefines Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for customers.

“Since announcing MLSoC Modalix last fall, customer interest has exceeded our expectations," said Krishna Rangasayee, Founder and CEO at SiMa.ai. "With the sampling of Modalix, we're now ready to put this breakthrough technology directly into customers' hands, enabling them to experience firsthand how Modalix can transform their multi-modal and GenAI applications with unmatched industry leading performance and efficiency. I am proud of the SiMa.ai team and their dedication and focus in delivering our second generation product into customer hands in record time.”
