Angstrom Scientific named U.S. distributor for Radalytica’s RadalyX Robotic X-ray and CT System
Angstrom Scientific has been appointed as the U.S. distributor for Radalytica, a technology leader in robotic X-ray imaging and computed tomography (CT) systems for non-destructive testing (NDT) and materials characterization.
This partnership brings Radalytica’s advanced imaging technology to U.S. laboratories and industries working with composites, aerospace, oil and gas, and other high-performance materials. By combining robotic automation with cutting-edge X-ray and CT imaging, Radalytica delivers unparalleled flexibility, precision, and insight into internal structures—all without compromising or damaging the sample.
“We are thrilled to bring Radalytica’s innovative solutions to the U.S. market,” said Bob Sommerville, CEO at Angstrom Scientific. “Their robotic X-ray and CT scanner redefines what’s possible in non-destructive testing. We see enormous potential for these systems to transform inspection and quality assurance across multiple high-tech industries.”
Radalytica’s robotic imaging systems enable fully automated, multi-angle scanning, making them ideal for complex geometries and advanced materials. Designed for both research and industrial environments, they combine versatility, precision, and speed in a uniquely portable format.
“Partnering with Angstrom Scientific marks an exciting step in Radalytica’s global expansion,” said David Malančuk, Chief Commercial Officer at Radalytica. “Thanks to the mobility and portability of our scanner, we brought to market a ‘non-destructive testing lab on wheels.’ It literally comes to the sample and can perform scans on planes, rockets, or cars on the spot. This capability reduces costs associated with sample transportation and preparation. With Angstrom’s technical expertise and strong relationships within the U.S. research and manufacturing communities, we are confident our solutions will reach and empower a wide range of new customers.”
Angstrom Scientific has built its reputation by representing world-class technologies for microscopy, imaging, and materials analysis throughout North America. The addition of Radalytica’s robotic X-ray imaging systems further strengthens Angstrom’s portfolio of high-performance analytical solutions.
