Moxa 5G expert to discuss Private 5G Networks

Dr. David Chen, Vice President of Industrial Wireless at Moxa Inc., will be a featured speaker at the upcoming SEMICON West event where he will address the topic “Private 5G Unlocks the Next Generation of Semiconductor Fabs.”

During his presentation, Dr. Chen will unveil groundbreaking insights into industrial 5G solutions, showcasing the latest advancements in private 5G networks tailored specifically for the semiconductor industry, and highlighting Moxa's innovative approach to resolving the complexities of OT and IT convergence.

Dr. Chen’s is scheduled to speak on July 11, 2024, from 11:15 am to 11:35 am, during SEMICON West Session 5: Automation & Equipment Toward Fully Autonomous Factories. Session 5 will be held in the Smart Manufacturing Pavilion Stage of the Moscone Center and run from 10:30 am to 12:40 pm. Along with Dr. Chen, Session 5 will feature presentations from semiconductor manufacturing authorities from Rockwell Automation, Samsung, Teradyne, Applied Materials, Agileo, and Advantest.

Dr. Chen is a renowned expert in IT and OT who has spent nearly three decades advancing industrial automation. His leadership in IEEE and the 5G Alliance for Connected Industries and Automation (5G-ACIA) has proven instrumental in shaping the direction of industrial communication standards. His vision for connected industries leverages cutting-edge cellular technologies to enhance efficiency and productivity, reflecting his dedication to progress and innovation in industrial wireless communication.
