Amkor Technology, Supplier of the Year by Qualcomm

Amkor, a provider of semiconductor packaging and test services, has announced it has been recognized as Supplier of the Year for 2016 by Qualcomm Technologies, Inc., a subsidiary of Qualcomm Incorporated. The award honors one key supplier that demonstrates the highest level in on-time delivery, quality and customer service throughout the calendar year. In presenting the award, Qualcomm Technologies highlighted Amkor's significant contributions in support of mobile communications products across all tiers and functions, and the successful ramp of Qualcomm Technologies' new test facility in Amkor's Shanghai factory.

"We are honored to receive Qualcomm Technologies' Supplier of the Year award for the second consecutive year," said Steve Kelley, Amkor's president and chief executive officer. "This award recognizes the extraordinary dedication and hard work of our entire team and demonstrates our commitment to superior customer service and strategic alignment with one of the top semiconductor companies in the world."
