New Global Business Director for Semiconductor Technologies in DuPont

DuPont Electronics & Imaging has announced Sang-Ho Kang has been named Global Business Director for Semiconductor Technologies, effective Oct. 1, 2019. Kang, previously Global Business Director for Display Technologies in DuPont Electronics & Imaging and President of DuPont Korea, succeeds Mario Stanghellini, who is retiring from the company.

Semiconductor Technologies is a global leader in materials for the integrated circuit fabrication market, with a deep customer focus, advanced technologies and global reach. As Global Business Director, Kang will guide business strategy across a diverse portfolio of advanced technologies including materials for microlithography, pads and slurries for chemical mechanical planarization (CMP), cleaning chemistries, specialty silicones for electronics industries, and materials for advanced semiconductor packaging and assembly.

Kang began to build a career in the area of electronic materials in 1998 as part of Rohm and Haas Electronic Materials and held various positions in sales and marketing in its semiconductor technologies portfolio in both Korea and the United States. In 2009, he was named Sales Director for the Display Technologies business, and was later named Marketing Director for Display Technologies. In 2013, he relocated to Vietnam as Platform Development Director for Photovoltaic Films and Dow Vietnam Country Manager. Kang was named Global Business Director for Display Technologies in 2016, and was named DuPont Korea President in 2018. Kang holds a B.S. in inorganic material engineering from Hanyang University and an MBA from KAIST.
